Teaching kids

May 1st, 2015 at 05:24 am

I have always been frugal.I suspect that at least one of my kids may turn out to be a mall person, still I have hope.I make all my kids ,find something and make money from it.The last one found a fancy dog kennel in the trash. Took it home and cleaned it.The pan was cracked so she taped it.It was wicker ,so she used old english to revive it.She sold for 80.00.We looked it up originally it was 200.00. But my son definitely has the touch. He gets it from his dad.He on his own made a chicken coop, hatched eggs and now sells eggs.He got a free bee house and yes got bee's.Yesterday they were swarming,so he follows them. One street over he knocks on a lady's door and says excuse me ma'm but my bee's are in your backyard, may I get them?I would have loved to see the look on her face.So he sells some and makes 75.00,wow.Now his dad and I are city people and know nothing about this stuff. But there are a lot of people who can make money very few who can keep it.

Some DKs are wonderful entrepreneurs, they are fearless and have wonderful imaginations. They see lemons and instinctively understand how to make and sell lemonade
