Starting my savings

So I am stating my savings I would like to save 30,000. in the next three years although this is not very likely.However if I save 8.21 a day I will have 10,000. in 3 years.So here goes

    Welcome to the group Reney!

    I'm positive that if you put your mind to it, that you can do it. I saved 1500 in less than four months on a income less than $40K a year with expenses totally a little over half of my income. For me it's all about stating focus, not deviating from the plan.

    I like your idea of $8.21 a day, sometimes I spend more than this on food. So I challenged myself to sock away $8.21 per day. Thanks for the tip and good luck.

    Making a plan makes a huge difference, the harder part is sticking to it! Good luck.

    Thank you,yes it is hard to stick to it.Something always comes up.I must have resolve and follow through.
